This page explains what data go tourist app keeps, who we share it with when you ask for a tour, and how you can ask us to delete it.
Who we are
go tourist app is a platform that connects visitors with independent tour operators in El Salvador. Each operator runs its own tours; we show you the offer and pass your request on to them.

What data we keep
If you only browse, we ask for nothing. The server logs technical data (IP address, browser, page requested) to keep the site safe and running.
If you create an account: your name, email and password (stored encrypted), or the basic details Google or Apple give us if you sign in with them. We also keep the tours you mark as favorites.
When you request a spot: your name, phone, note, the tour, the date and how many people are coming. We don't ask for or keep payment details: you agree on payment with the operator.
What happens when you send a request
Your request reaches the tour's operator with your name, phone and note. They use it to confirm your spot and contact you; what they do with your data afterwards is their own responsibility.
At the end we open WhatsApp with a message ready for the operator. If you send it, WhatsApp (Meta) processes it under its own policies. We never send messages on your behalf.
Cookies
We only use necessary cookies. We don't use advertising, analytics or tracking cookies. When you send a request, the form loads Cloudflare's anti-bot check (Turnstile), which confirms you are a person.

How long we keep your data
We keep your account while you have it, and your requests for as long as they are needed to serve you and for the operator's records. Today we don't delete them automatically; you can ask us to delete them at any time.
Your rights
You can ask us to show, correct or delete your data by writing to hello@gotouristapp.com. We reply as soon as we can and let you know when it is done. If you already sent your request to an operator, it is also worth asking them to delete their copy.
Changes to this page
If we change something important, we will update the date above.
